Pacific Rim Tonewoods has been supplying premium wood to guitar makers and luthiers around the world. Our mill is nestled in a forested valley of the North Cascades where we’ve been supporting the local economy for over 35 years. Neighboring British Columbia and Alaska are rich with Sitka and Lutz spruce, the industry standard wood for guitar soundboards. Our relationships throughout the world allow us to ethically source a wide range of woods for instrument makers, while our commitment to the science of sound is generating a new possibility for luthiers—sonically graded soundboards.
