PRT では幸運にも、北カリフォルニアのサーモン修復プロジェクトの一環として小川から引き揚げられた樹齢 900 ～ 1,000 年のセコイアの木を最近入手することができました。レッドウッドは、その稀有な美しさ、豊かな音響特性、独特の木目模様と色合いにより弦楽器製作者に人気があります。私たちの保管庫にあるこれらの電気機器は、非常に強烈な姿をしています。光の当たり方によって、キルティングのように見えたり、炎が入ったように見えたりすることがあります。
