パシフィック・リム・トーンウッズでは、スプルースの原木をそれぞれ個人的に厳選しています。私たちは丸太をくさび形のブロックに分割し、丸太のねじれを最小限に抑えながら品質を最大化することに重点を置いています。次に、当社の鋸工はこれらのブロックを正確に 4 等分されたボードに切断し、半径方向の剛性を固定します。これらのボードは空気乾燥され、その後当社の除湿窯で 3 ～ 4 週間かけて「仕上げ」られ、最終的な含水率は 8.5% に達します。乾燥すると、ボードはブックマッチのセットに再び製材され、次の 3 つの伝統的なグレードのいずれかに等級分けされます。
