Koa grows only in Hawaii . Long used for ukuleles, its striking appearance makes it a favorite for acoustic and electric guitar builders. We offer 3 grades with ranges of color variegation and figure; all back and side sets are matched.

Koa grading structure:
AAAA – highest quality, superior color and figure
AAA – decent figure, good color, figure is less intense 
AA – nice color, little to no figure
